Food Safety in Canada

The Food safety in Ontario after the outbreak of listeria in the Maple Leaf Foods products, handled the crisis very differently were the CEO of Maple Leaf Foods Michael McCain said that  it would demonstrate trust, transparency, credibility, and commitment after the listerioisis were linked to cold cuts produced at Maple Leaf's Toronto plant in August 2008. In many cases Ontario should be more concerned after the outbreak killed nearly half of Canadians across Ontario and other provinces. The majority of process foods is causing illnesses for food borne disease outbreaks in Canadian history. Majority of Maple Leafs strategies is to make good intentions back in January 2009 their was recall of tainted food. Maple Leaf Foods should take different strategies to regain its safety for its meat products and retain its positive customer support towards rebuild the trust of the consumers.

Do feel that Maple Leaf Foods should be more concerned about their meat products and the safety of the consumers?
